03 – Long term visa
THE LONG TERM/STAY VISA
The long-stay visa is a visa valid for more than ninety (90) days.
The long-stay visa issued for multiple entries is considered a travel visa.
In this case, the total duration of stays cannot exceed ninety days per semester.
THE APPLICANT FOR A LONG STAY VISA MUST PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS :
A valid passport
An (01) application form, provided by the competent administration, duly completed, dated and signed
Two (02) recent identity photos in color on a white background format 3.5 x 4.5 cm
Proof of the reason for long stay in Burkina Faso
A medical examination certificate attesting that the applicant is not suffering from a contagious disease
A certificate of support in Burkina Faso or proof of sufficient income for the duration of the stay in Burkina Faso
A health insurance certificate covering the period of stay
Stamp duty payment receipt
